We care about our patients! Special precautions are being taken to keep our patients healthy and prevent any potential spread of infection. The health of our community and the preservation of our health care system is our priority. Our actions are described as below.

Telehealth Office Visits Now Available

Virtual office visits are now available through secure technology. This will allow our vulnerable patients to continue receiving needed follow-up care from the comfort of home.   To use the Telehealth feature, Google Chrome is required for Android phones or laptop computers. Google Chrome is not required for iPhones. Once you receive your link from Wellmon Medical Associates you will be prompted to allow camera and allow microphone. You will then wait until a staff member is on your screen.

Separate Exam Rooms for Sick Patients

All ill patients will enter the facility through a back door. Dedicated exam rooms are being used for all patients who are ill. No patients being seen for non illness related issues will be treated in the same room as a patient who has been ill. We are following careful cleaning and sterilization procedures after each patient visit.

No Sick Patients in Waiting Room Area

Patients who are sick are being immediately escorted upon arrival into a dedicated exam rooms. No patients being seen for non illness related issues will be sitting next to someone who is ill in the waiting and check-in area.

Patients Who Are Sick and Have Possible Exposure

Patients who are ill and are at high risk of Coronavirus (COVID-19) exposure are being referred to regional care centers and are not being seen in the office. Proceed to a regional care center if you have active illness complaints such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath, recent travel to endemic areas, potential or known exposure to a person who has been infected, or have a high suspicion of infection. Call before entering our office if you have any possible exposure. Office staff are asking screening questions to ensure safety of our patients and staff and to ensure patients are being managed in the proper setting.
